# Creating a New Import Map

## This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a new import map. By following these steps, users will be able to easily upload import maps, name them, select files, match fields, and create or edit import maps.

1. Navigate to your dashboard [https://app.mfp.net.au/dashboardhttps://app.mfp.net.au/dashboard](https://app.mfp.net.au/dashboardhttps://app.mfp.net.au/dashboard)
2. To access the main menu, click the "**Main Menu**" icon on the top right corner
3. To import a map, click "**Import maps**" in the dropdown under the Organization Settings label
4. To name your "**New Import Map**", click the "**Name**" field and add name
5. To select a file, click the "**Choose File**" button
6. To add your file, click the "**Update File**" button
7. To select your category, click "**Select the field for Categories**" dropdown
8. To select the matching KPI, click this dropdown and select accordingly
9. To select another KPI, click the next dropdown and select matching KPI.  
   Repeat the same step for all KPIs
10. To select the matching category, click this dropdown. Repeat the same step for all categories.
11. Click the category dropdown
12. To match the fields, click "**Match Fields**"
13. To create or edit an import map, click the "**Create / Edit Import Map**" button
14. To go back and view your import maps, click "**Back to Import Maps**" button
15. To download the original file, click "**Download original file**"
